Early Interventionist: A Case Study
A possible career ladder that fits with my current area of interest in working with young children is that of an Early Interventionist. In which case I will help children between the ages of birth to 3 with disabilities or delays, to learn and grow. In this possible career choice, I will help Infants and toddlers who are evaluated to see if there is a delay in movement, learning, dealing with others, behavior, and/or self-help skills. Before this course, I have been in special education early childhood development classrooms in which I worked with preschoolers to help with their skills needed for intervention to get them ready for kindergarten. I also worked with Speech Pathologists, OTs, and still work with BCBAs who have been able to
