Dynamic Simulation Of Oxyfuel CO2 Processing Plant Case Study
2.4.1 Dynamic Simulation of Oxyfuel CO2 Processing Plants

Linde Engineering had designed and built completed products in process plants for industrials demanders such as air separation, synthesis gas production and more. It also went after the master plan for Computer Aided Process Engineering (CAPE) which was depended on programs for dynamic simulation of process plants and were very precious for “carbon capture and storage (CCS) technologies” (Martin et al., 2011). FIGURE 2.2 Oxyfuel process block diagram From the figure above, Linde Engineering had designed the technical resolution for CCS with oxyfuel process to heat the coal with oxygen in the atmosphere which that oxygen was made from “air separation unit (ASU)”. Later, the flue

Therefore, Human System Interface (HSI) is required to help them dealing with the situations safer and more successfully with less ambivalently; in the case, information acquisition and decision creating are more preferable than manual manipulating. Hence, good HSI can reduce somehow the accidents, risk in workforces (Flaspoler et al., 2009; Jovanovic and Balos, 2012). Thus, a methodology was suggested to join users; mental models in HSI for CNC system (Fuchs-Frothnhofen et al., 1996) and several human factors’ principles could be used to improve interface screen, alarm system and more in nuclear plant for simulation (Carvalho et al., 2008). Furthermore, there was difficult method to evaluate the information search due to “ratio of fixation: importance and effectively selective attention (Ha and Seong, 2009). Also, Lee et al. (2013) had improved “computational situation assessment model” to create HSI in nuclear power plant constructed from “Situation awareness …show more content…
The optimal condition can be reached when both numerator and denominator are equivalent; thus, DIRijk will come near the optimal balance. Another equation is needed to take all the elements in HMI as a whole: BIjk = Bi in design attribute -j and importance attribute-k The optimal condition can be achieved as BI move to zero so that the HMI design’s balance for all elements will be optimized. Numerator and denominator are necessary to be verified in quantitative means to apply to these above equation (Jun, 2014). Hence, from this study, the HMI can be developed to achieve the optimum conditions so that it can imply to evolve by adding corresponding equation for biodiesel reactor later.

The simulation process flow sheet is shown in figure (20) was simulated using a 30 wt. % MEA with lean solvent loading of 0.29 mol CO2/mol MEA to capture CO2 of 84.6 kg/hr. The following description of the MEA process that was run at Tarong pilot plant will be discussed based on the simulation process results were obtained from the Aspen plus V8.4. The flow rate of the flue gas of 599.9kg/hr at 103.7◦C generated from the coal-fired power station entered the pilot plant through the pre-treatment column. The flow rate of flue gas became 585.8kg/hr due to the removed of acidic components and water and its temperature was reduced to approximately 32.6◦C due to cooled process. The amount of cooled water…

First of all, carbon dioxide emitted from electrical generation plants and other combustion sources as a flue gas can be captured by three engineering techniques. The first is end-of-pipe or pre combustion approach in which chemical processes are used to gasify the fossil fuel to extract H2 before it is combusted. Another way to capture CO2 can be done by post combustion whereby carbon dioxide is recovered from the flue gas by scrubbing it with an aqueous solution. Alternatively, the last approach uses oxygen instead of air in the burner so that CO2 and water compounds are produced from which the CO2 is easily separated. Among these technologies, only post-combustion capture is closest to implementation that could be applied broadly today, but costs and energy demands are high while the other options require more research to achieve much higher energy efficiency.…

Abstract-Although the hardware and software technology affect the development of E-Iearning technology, but human computer interaction factor determines the ultimate learning efficiency from another perspective. This thesis begins with the analysis of digital technology, from a cognitive psychological perspective, analyzes and discusses the importance of the human-computer interaction design for E-Iearning. In this thesis, use visual stimuli as an example of the cognitive environment, analyze the relationship between the cognitive psychology and human-computer interaction. We get up a strategy which can use neural network algorithm to realize optimization of the scheme design for human-computer interaction program. Finally, an example was given which have verified the human-computer interaction techniques.…

HCI differs from human factors because it focuses more on users working exclusively with computers, rather than other kinds of machines or designed artifacts. In HCI there is a fair amount of focus on how to execute the computer software and hardware mechanisms to support human–computer interaction. Thus, human factors being a broader term can not be used exclusively for HCI; HCI could be described as the human factors of computers. There is less focus on work-oriented tasks and actions and less stress on physical forms or industrial designs of the user interface, example keyboards, there fore it also differs from human factors.…
