Adults presume that children go in the Internet and are not gaining anything beneficial. According to Source 3, “New media allow for a degree of freedom and autonomy…” Kids are learning from others in forums and building knowledge off each other. They don't all learn in a classroom setting but instead in engaged conversations with peers on a topic they enjoy talking about. The new generation learns in a different way that the older generation is not accustomed to. Being different is not being bad. Research that once required days in the stacks or periodical rooms in libraries can be done in minutes.” Finding an easier way of doing something is not being dumber but instead being more resourceful. The entire job of engineers is to create and design a product to do a task easier.
