We have read a few stories from our big book and others from actual books that have been passed out to us. I have definitely found one short story that everyone has read. That book is Duffy’s Jacket. In that short story it has all one big book needs. The book has conflict, theme, climax, setting, and a main idea. The reason I like this story so much is it really gives you a good laugh. A narrative story that people want to tell (Jared from Subway) which carries your idea along for the ride.” People like to think in terms of narratives, rather than in terms of information. They are more concerned with the whole entire story rather than the content. Good stories have the ability to transmit information to others. Stories are also easier to remember; therefore, are more memorable than focusing on dry information or facts. When telling a story it gives people the ability to talk about ideas and products more easily and…

A novella generally features fewer conflicts than a novel, yet more complicated ones than a short story. The conflicts also have more time to develop than in short stories. Unlike novels, they are usually not divided into chapters, and are often intended to be read at a single sitting, as the short story, although white space is often used to divide the sections. They maintain, therefore, a single effect.[2] Warren Cariou wrote:…
