Drinking Under Age

Drinking under age is a major problem now in days with teens like me. That think that it will help them deal with their problems back home but what we don’t know it can actually make everything way worse than what it already is. This is my experience on why I thought it would help and what it actually happen and how it just gave me more problems than what I already have and what I learn.

It all started on this past weekend on a Saturday me and a friend whet to a concert on base. I been having a lot on my mind with stuff back home with my baby’s mom and on how I needed to find out if the other baby was mine or not. I was not thinking straight I met some people at the concert and they offered me a beer I had never drank before I had a lot on my mind I thought it would me a good idea to have a couple of drinks oh was I wrong I did not know how fast you can lose control how one moment u are in total control of what u are doing and the next thing u know u have no idea what was going on. That is exactly what happen to me I lost control I was not myself no more I realize this was not a good Idea at all so I told my friend that we should head back to our room and sleep it off so we did there are some parts that I don’t remember that is one of the worst feelings ever not knowing what happen the next day making a complete ass out of yourself acting like a complete retard I hate that feeling I am a person that hates those kind of things I was raised better than that I know better but sometimes you make one bad decision and that is all it takes to lose control of the whole situation in my experience I added a lot of more stuff to my list of problems I had to face my family and tell them what I had did they are so disappointed on me because of all the stuff we when though with my father my mom knows she raised me better than that and she never expected me to do something like this I think the worst thing than making a complete ass out of my self is hearing the disappointment in my mom’s voice but that’s just some of the stuff that happen to me drinking like that not only affects you but also affects the people around you like friend and your family like in my situation I not only hurt my reputation here on base and in my unit but I also hurt my parents I let them down they are home thinking I am over here doing good and I come up with stuff like this and I all so let down my siblings that look up to me sense I am the oldest one they see me as their hero I don’t ever want them to do what I did I got to lead them by example I got to be the one that shows them right from wrong and also my daughter I will never what her to see me like that and surly ever want to see her do that kind of stuff and I also bring my friends down with me like the one that went to the concert with me he got in trouble because of what I did we could of gotten in a lot of trouble that mistake could of cost us our career everything that we work so hard to get all of that would of gone down the drain just for a couple of drinks also I brought down my whole section made them all look bad in front of every other section and I screwed over my peers we had a good thing going all of our chain of command where proud of what we had accomplished and I learned my lesson never again will I fuck up like I did It could of gone way worse I want everyone to know that drinking is not worth what could happen to them and to take my mistake as an example and for them to think before the decide to do something like that I could of lost my career my rank my pay and everything I work so hard to get.

This are some other ways that alcohol affects you not only it affects the ones you love your job or the way people think and feel about u it also affects your body and mind in a lot of negative ways like this some of the main symptoms of drinking are you see double, slur your speech, you lose your sense of distance, Alcohol loosens your inhibitions; you make bad judgments that can result in car crashes and in pits you in harm’s way where people can take advantage of you by rape that can lead to unwanted pregnancy and sexual transmission of diseases and it makes you do some stuff that u would normally never do and that is why a big portion of violent crimes and vandalism among and by youth involve use of alcohol and that leads to using alcohol can cost you your freedom it can be something little like You can be grounded by parents to some serious stuff like lose your driver's license or end up in jail

Drinking also affects our future that why we need to look out for each other because the earlier young people start drinking the more likely they are to become addicted and sometime alcohol leads to more addictions like drugs also some teens think it is easy to sober up so they think it’s no big deal but they are wrong drinking coffee, taking a cold shower, exercising, or breathing fresh air will not sober you up the only thing that sobers you up is time at least several hours for the alcohol to exit your system and a lot of teens don’t think is that one beer, one shot of whiskey, and one glass of wine all have the same amount of alcohol. Don't fall for the myth that beer and wine are less intoxicating than hard liquor and also say that they are not alcoholics so they don’t seek help because they say only bums are alcoholics but they are wrong only 3 to 5 percent of alcoholics are what we think of as bums. Most alcoholics are just like people you know anyone can become an alcoholic young, old, rich, poor, single, married, employed, or out-of-work but they can end up like that on the long run because alcohol ages and damages the brain so they are less likely to stay in school and maintain a job and even make their family a lot of family’s now in days are broken up by alcohol it’s sad to see how many families are broken up by alcohol here are some statistic’s on how alcohol affects the united states 8 young people a day die in alcohol related crashes 73 percent of all felonies, 73 percent of all child beating cases, 41 percent of rape cases, 81 percent of spouse beating cases, 72 percent of stabbings, and 81 present of homicides are caused by alcohol related incidents that are some stuff to think about when u decide u want drink and lose control of what is happening around u its ok to have a couple of beers or drinks if u are of age but just make sure u control yourself and never ever let it control you because that is when it all goes bad
