Dreams and Goals
They say if you want to hear God laugh, tell him your plans. It's funny how much your dreams and goals change as you get older. Trust me, I am in the midst of a huge about face right now. Ever since I was a little girl, my biggest dream has been to be successful, and to be happy. My goal in life is to be something that would make me successful such as becoming a teacher. I've always known that my ambition would lead me to far away places. I plan on accomplishing my dreams and goals and pushing my self to achieve them. My dream is to be a successful. In other words I want to be have a good job and be successful in it. I believe that what ever I go to school for and major in I will be successful in as long as I work hard. Hard work and dedication can get you anywhere. Someone once told me that dreams are only as real as you make them. So I believe if I work hard enough to achieve my dream it will happen. My other dream is to be happy. I just want to be content with what ever I’m doing in life. Some people are miserable and unhappy with them selves. I don’t want to be like that I just want to be happy and make people happy and put smiles on their faces. My goal in life is to become a elementary school teacher. I’ve always wanted to work with kids. I know that this will require hard work and dedication so I will push myself to achieve it. After high school my first step to achieving my goal is to go to college. I plan on attending Hilbert College in the fall and majoring in education. From there ill work hard and plan out what I need to do to accomplish this. After my four years at Hilbert I will transfer to another university to get my masters. As long as you work hard to do what you have to do your dreams will come true and you will achieve your goals. Even though your dreams and goals may change over the years your determination wont change. Hard work and dedication will get you far in life. I believe that if i achieve your dreams of being happy and

Life for me has been very interesting. I started off in the nursing field as a nursing assistant and patient care tech at 19 working my way through school both full-time and part-time until I finally graduated from Virginia State University with my Associate’s of Science Degree in Nursing. After accomplishing that goal I have reached somewhat of a plateau in my life I have so many short and long-term goals I want to accomplish both professionally and personally. Some of professional goals are, becoming a supervisor at my current job, obtaining my Advance Life Support Certification, obtaining my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, enlisting into the Navy Nurse Corps, becoming a Nurse Practitioner, and eventually one day becoming an Administrator of an Acute Care Facility. As well as having professional goals in life you should have personal goals. My short and long term-personal goals are; relocating to Chicago, Illinois, getting married, and having children. The typical American Dream. These goals are not far from my reach with self motivation and perseverance all of these goals can be accomplished.…

There are many types of goals. Growing up, I always dreamed of being two things: a mother and a nurse. I am blessed to have two wonderful children ages 14 and 16 and have had the privilege of being able to be a stay-at-home mom during their younger years. Now that they are older and a bit more independent, I have decided to go back to school and fulfill my goal of earning my degree in Nursing. Throughout the years of growing and maturing, I have learned how important it is to have good morals, values, goals, a passion for something, and a good education. I have not only taught my children the importance of these characteristics, but I have also shown them that regardless of one’s age or stage in life, that…

In my future I would like to graduate from a good college, and be successful throughout college. After college, I wish to become a criminal investigator, or a lawyer. Both jobs require extreme amounts of investigation, but I’ve always been interested in mysteries. I have also always been interested in investigation, so I think both jobs would be a good fit for me. Aside from work and my education, in my future I would like to be family oriented, so I always have someone to be there with me. In my personal life, I would also like to be successful. Meaning having a nice place to live, and being smart with expenses. I would also like to be healthy, and be a positive, kind hearted person.
