“Little nuggets of gold”. This translation of the word Doritos may not truly translate in today's world, but according to society, Doritos chips are as worth as much as gold. With an extensive history, no wonder the science of Doritos has been perfected and the cheesy snack has become an international sensation.

In the beginning, this cheesy, corn chip snack originated in the place where dreams come true: Disneyland. According to OC Weekly, “...salesman saw discarded tortillas and told the cook to make them into tortilla chips instead of just tossing them in the trash. At that point, tortilla chips weren't part of the Frito family, so the restaurant had no use in offering them as other Mexican restaurants did. The throwaway snack was a hit with guests, so Casa de Fritos put them on the menu…” This restaurant spoken of above was featured in Disneyland, where dreams come true. Dan Myers from Daily Meal tells in his article about Doritos that flavors vary internationally. It is amazing that in places, like Japan and Europe, Doritos are tailored to locations on the globe. There are flavors such as Italian and sushi. Speaking of foreign places, Doritos are reaching almost every mouth around the globe. According to MSN, Doritos debuted in New Zealand in 2010. These chips must be magical, for they are addicting everyone on the planet.
Concludingly, Doritos are the popular chip that has dominated the globe. The history of Doritos is extensive and magical. Psychology is the only way to explain the hooking taste and look of America’s first tortilla chip to be given national release.
