Don't burn your bridges is an old say by a Sociologist name albeit. Which is a wise quote and piece of advice. I know god has a plan for all of us are similar to that old say. Don't burn your bridges" generally means don't leave on bad terms like for example a job or relationship etc; like on your last day of work you should go to work early and give 100%. This is how you will be good in supporting the network or organization for the future and be able to use that job for reference or get a good recommendation for another job or career that you want to pursue.
