Dog Personification Essay
In my cartoon editorial the author uses the device personification to highlight the fact the dog was more important than the other smaller things. This just is explains how the meaningful things are more important than the small temporary objects. This compares to my theme because the dog can bring you true happiness and emotion as for the other objects that give you happiness here there as a temporary emotion. The point in this is to take advantage of every true happiness and enjoy the moment you get to have with meaningful people/things. Objects are in your life temporarily once you find no use for it or it has transformed into something you don't seem useful, it will soon no long be part of your life don't get so attached to the objects

    Here’s an example of personification: Without waiting for breakfast, Rikki-tikki ran to the thorn bush, where Darzee was singing a song of triumph at the top of his voice (para 61). “Nag is dead—is dead—is dead!” sang Darzee (para 63). This is personification because, in real life, animals do not sing out of happiness or relief. Animals do not sing at all. This proves the theme because Nag being dead, Darzee won’t be afraid anymore around the garden. It’s one last thing to not worry about. He gets to protect his beloved eggs without fear. Furthermore, the story stated “Give me the egg, Rikki-tikki. Give me the last of my eggs, and I will go away and never come back,” she said, lowering her hood (para 93). In a real life situation, if you were an animal in the wild, and someone had your baby in their possession, you would do anything in your ability to get it back. Real animals would not try to talk and convince the animal to give them their own back. Real animals would fight their enemy for their property.
