Do You Think Grass Is Better Than Turf?
As you can see grass is better than turf because that turf leads to more injuries and has more traction so you can see more injuries on turf. But if you don't keep care of your grass then you might have more injuries on grass. But if you keep care of your grass then more injuries are gonna happen on turf. Most people play on turf because it looks good but people should look deeper and it's not about the looks all the time you should look into injuries too stop them. This is why I think grass is better than turf besides the looks.

Many compare the National Football League (NFL) with college football but the two are not extremely similar and should never be compared. Yes, besides a few minor rule changes the NFL and college football are the same game; but there is much more to football then the rules. College football is better than the NFL for a wide variety of reasons. First, there exists more passion in college football all around the sport. Passion cannot be measured in anyway but can be observed and understood by the fans, coaches, and sports community. Players care more about the game and less about money, while the fans have great passion for the university they attend or attended. The lack of an influence money has on the game is admirable. Also, tradition is so vast in college football a game day experience cannot be compared with those of the NFL. The special rivalry games and in stadium events makes college football great. Rivalries, passion, playing rules, and timing are few of the reasons why college football is better than the NFL. Along with great activities like tailgating, the wonderful scheduling, the entertainment, and the comeback friendly rules college football has the best case for why it is levels above the NFL.…

    The Great Game Of Soccer

The first reason to play soccer over other sports is because it is more fun to play. Soccer is a fast-paced and non-stop game; therefore, it is not stopped every few plays like some sports. The game is played for forty-five minute halves and the only time play is stopped is if there is an injury. The goalkeeper is the only one that is able to use their hands when playing soccer; consequently, this makes the game more challenging.…

Sexism in European football as a matter of fact exists and has negative effects on the society, especially women society. Starting off with the most recent act of sexism in European football, it would be worth pointing out the issues that female football players are facing for the FIFA World Cup 2015. For the Women’s World Cup, the FIFA installs turfs, instead of natural grass, as the ground surface for the game. If the word ‘Women’s’ was replaced by’ Men’s World Cup’, it wouldn’t even be an option for the FIFA to think about installing artificial turfs, as a ground surface to play the most international, widely watched game: football. This has never been the case for any of the men world cups, will never be, and can’t be named as anything but pure sexism. As agreed upon by the representative of the players, Hampton Dellinger, the fact that the FIFA is not providing women football players with natural grass, just as it is provided for men, is considered ‘illegal sex discrimination’. Requesting for natural grass as the ground surface for Womens’ Football games does not come out only because of anger against discrimination, but has also other reasons behind this need for it. Reasoning the demand for natural grass as the surface, Dellinger states that playing on artificial turfs is not only an indication of low quality games, but could also be dangerous, and is not as efficient as playing on natural grass that calls for more flexibility (para 1o http://www.nbcsports.com/soccer/players-officially-file-lawsuit-against-fifa-csa-over-artificial-turf-world-cup ). Playing a safe, enjoyable game is all that is asked for, and if that could be provide for men, it could be as well for women.…

Experience with lacrosse workouts and exercise, players were much more fit at the end of the field hockey season than at the end of lacrosse. Due to the fast movement of the ball through passing, in field hockey, players run more during a single game than in lacrosse. This means field hockey requires more conditioning so the entire team is fit to run for the duration of the game. Lacrosse is a more slow paced game while in field hockey the ball can move from the offense to defense side in the blink of an eye. Although field hockey is the preferable sport to pick over lacrosse, it can be relatively dangerous according to an article on concussion incidents. “Concussion rates for field hockey rank third among girls’ sports included in the High School RIO surveillance program” (“Kriz et al” 1-2). Due to the intensity of field hockey, not only is more agility needed but more protection as well. Field hockey players wear shin guards to protect against hard hits to the shines and goggles and mouthguards are also worn. Only mouthguards are required for lacrosse. Thus, leaving field hockey more dangerous, yet more pleasurable to play and leaving athletes in shape at the end of each…
