People don’t realize that the violence in video games can cause violence in real life. Not all videogames are violent but the majority of them are getting worse as the years go on. In the past 10 years the death rates caused by videogames has gone up.
The most violent game is Call of Duty. Kids aren’t understanding how dangerous guns really are and the video games are causing them to kill in real life. Some young kids don’t completely understand what they’re doing with guns and just going crazy. Also kids with disorders could be playing these games and not knowing exactly what’s going on and then getting ahold of real guns and causing damage to people in real life. Do video games actually incite violent behaviors in the real world? Well Christopher J. Ferguson thinks so because he says, “Children learn what video games teach, and often that lesson is doing violence.” Scientist say that children that have played violent video games are more aggressive than children that have not played. The more a child plays violent video games the more violent they will become , which increases the likelihood them to be violent. When children play video games they become physically and mentally agitated, beginning to think aggressively and become violent. The excessive rage alter with the age of the individuals because younger children do not know the difference between the game and real life occurrences. The correlation could have many outside factors influencing this issue and that is leading to a controversy in psychologists and the whole issue has the nation itself in a controversy over whether or not…
