ICD-10-PCS which stands for International Classification of Disease tenth revision Procedure Coding System. It is a system of medical codes that is designed to track health interventions used by medical professionals it is also a replacement for volume 3 of the International Classification of Disease. ICD-10-PCS uses three to seven digit codes to identify medical procedures. The first digit identifies the section of medical practice and the following digits represent the body system, root operation, body part, approach, device, and the seventh character represents the qualifier.
