The law is in place because of several reason, let’s think for a second, what the world would be without rules and regulation for everyone to follow while they are on the road. In our homes we have rules, growing up, our parents have rules in the house, and we have to also follow them.
For some people they know it is morally correct to do the right thing, it is something that is something that was taught to them while growing up, and by just obeying the law it’s pretty much doing the right thing. Because for example, running a red light would get you pulled over by the cop, so that wasn’t the right thing you did after all, and that’s speaking from experience.
I was debating whether to make a left turn on a red light, I never did it before, however I taught that it’s just one time and I wouldn’t get caught, I made the right turn and the cops was right behind me when I pulled into the parking lot. So I couldn’t say no that I did not disobey the light.
People do things according to their character, if someone always disobey the road rules and don’t get caught, then they think it’s the right thing. However, someone who takes the rules of the road serious they would not think of even running a stop sign.
It is our duty to obey the law, although some people do it out of fear, because maybe let’s say they are driving with a suspended license, then they would be cautious not to get caught because then they will go to jail, that would be obeying the law out of fear.
It is our duty to follow all the laws, they are in place to protect us. Sometimes we have to just keep it to ourselves the ones that don’t make sense, and still follow them. I don’t think we have to choice as to when we don’t want to obey the law, the law is the law.
This country is like a house and we are the kids, the government is the parents, and if we don’t follow the rules of the house, we will get punish, that’s pretty much how I can break it down.
