Discriptive Essay Trip to Cancun.
My Trip to Cancun, Mexico! Cancun Mexico is a place if amazing beaches, wild life, and many adventures that can’t be found anywhere else. The many different kinds of resorts that they have to offer is what makes Cancun a great vacation spot. All the resorts are combined so that way any guest that stays in Cancun can just jump from one resort to another. The resorts offer adventures and beaches with crystal clear waters at anyone’s finger tips, I loved being spoiled the whole time I was there. The main things that I enjoyed the most about my trip was spending time in the Olympic size pools getting waiting on all hours of the day, swimming with dolphins, and the XPOR tour. The resort I stayed at is called the Moon Palace. When I walked into the resort for the first time the first thing that I noticed was the attention to detail. The ceiling looked as if it was hand painted and the floors were made out of marble with gold lefts painted into it. The resort was full of many different things to do. I could just walk right outside of my room down the steps and around the corner and be by the pool or go to a restaurant. The pool was the best part of the resort. Every pool had a bar with seats that I could just swim up to and have the bartenders make me any drink I wanted. My favorite part about the pools that I could just be laying out in the sun and a waiter would bring me a ice cold drink and anything I wanted to eat if I wanted anything, I felt so spoiled. One of the days that my family and I was in Cancun we spent a whole day swimming with dolphins. At first I was scared to jump in a pool with dolphins but the longer that I was there the more comfortable I got. The first thing that we did was feel the dolphins. Dolphin’s skin is smooth and soft as a new born baby’s skin. The reason for that is that dolphins shed a layer of skin every 2 hours. By spending a whole day with dolphins I learned many things about them. The main thing that I learned was that they

In the short story "Mexico," the author Sandra Cisneros uses very long, detailed sentences as a form of syntax, which is the arrangement of words and phrases to create well-formed sentences in a language, and uses descriptive words to set the mood, theme, and setting of her short story, which is called diction. Cisneros' style and usage of syntax and diction are critical elements to the short story.…

Currently, the U.S is in a predicament similar to the fall of the Aztec Empire. After interference from outside sources the country is sparked into a war that causes a spiral of its economy downward. After the incident of 9/11 by Al-Queda we invaded Iraq and reinforced the lust for American blood by the the 3rd world countries. The war with Afghanistan raged on and during this time there was an impact on U.S citizen’s views on the citizens of 3rd world countries like Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan. U.S citizens became hostile toward dark skin colored people who wore headdresses similar to turbans, what Al-Queda members wore during 9/11 attack. Essay On Mexico Border

I read everything I can about the Mexico-America border. I'm slightly obsessed with it- partially due to the first trip I spent in Mexico, where we studied border issues in depth. It's not really fair to speak of Mexico without the context of the United States and/or the border, and honestly, it's not really fair to talk about the United States without talking about Mexico. A whole lot of us (me included) live in what used to be Mexico (now referred to by people in the Chicano Movement as "Aztlan"), which was surrendered/taken/stolen by the US after the Spanish/American war in 1848. (See this dramatic map). It's a whole lot of white/colonial/American privilege that most people in el norte don't even know about this. And much more recently, a whole lot of incredibly destructive policies have created a push/pull situation where Mexican are both enticed to the United States and forced to look elsewhere for their income. This isn't a history lesson, so I'm not going to discuss all of these factors, or the US policy's…

At the age of two my parents made the long and devastating journey to bring me and my siblings to the United States from Mexico. They sought for a brighter and better future for us and fought tooth and nail to give us the world they didn’t have growing up. Ever since I had stepped foot on U.S soil I never had the chance to go back. The sacrifices that permitted me to be able to attend school for free and giving me a better head start than I would’ve had if we’d stayed couldn’t mask the effects of the move. I didn’t grow up being enriched by the colorful culture that Mexico has, I missed out on the opportunity to share moments with my family from abroad, and fought the struggle of trying to blend in, in an environment that was so different…

Dolphins are marine mammals and fully adapted to live in water. It is generally believed that dolphins are some of the most incredibly intelligent creatures on earth. They belong to a group of mammals called Cetaceans, which also include all whales. Besides, dolphins are warm blooded and use the blow hold at the top of their heads to breathe air like other land animals although they live in the sea. There are 32 different species of oceanic dolphins, 5 species of river dolphins, and 6 species of porpoises.…

My uncle recently just moved to Mexico City because of work. He started by renting a house just of a construction site, but close enough to drive to work in about ten to fifteen minutes. He didn’t like the place because of the loud sounds of the machinery or the clanking of the metal poles as they were building a convenient store. He understandably didn’t particularly enjoy the smell the sweat of the men or the newly put concrete or the close garbage bins which surrounded the construction place. A week has passed and he started noticing strange actions which the surrounding people were doing, but didn’t think much of it as he didn’t know if it was some sort of tradition or event which happened in the middle of summer. He saw a lot of people throughout the day, but there were always the same people on the same spot for what seemed for days now.…

Dolphins live in deep waters but come to the shores and shallow waters for food at times. Though they live in water, they are mammals and breath air through their blowhole. Some dolphins rise up to the surface every 20 to 30 seconds and some can hold their breath for more than 30 minutes. They are very social and playful animals with curious habits and are very intelligent in behavior. They live in pods like other whale species and travel large distances for food and reproduction. When they sleep, half of their brain is active and so one of their eyes is always open. These are also some very important dolphin facts for kids.…
