INTRODUCTION
A bicycle is an engineering device that is used as a means of travelling.It is a single person operated vehicle or may be two or more could use it to operate it .In its assembly many different types of fasteners are used of different sizes and shapeswhich are as follows

1-Labyrinth Seal

A bearing seal that adds no friction, because there is no seal contact between the revolving part and the stationary part. Contaminants can't easily enter the bearing because the baffles of the labyrinth seal deprive them of a straight route inward.
Labyrinth seals work very well as long as the bearing assembly is not immersed.
The illustration shows a standard hub, but similar seals are used on some other bearing applications as well.

2-Adjusting barrel

A hollow bolt, designed so that a gear or brake cable can run down through the center of it, but the housing stops inside the head of the barrel. This allows fine adjustment of cable tension without requiring the use of any tools. Adjusting barrels may be located at the end of any run of cable housing. On brakes, their primary function is to permit easy adjustment to take up the slack as the brake shoes wear down. On gear shifting cables, they help fine tune the indexing.

3- Cap Screw

A threaded fastener designed to screw into metal, with a head that is expected to stick up above the surface. Cap screws are commonly used on bicycles to secure bottle cages, luggage racks and other accessories. Cap screws are also used in many other locations on bicycles, but the nomenclature "cap screw" is rarely if ever used by practical mechanics. Most people call these "bolts" in practice, though sticklers may contend that is not proper usage. 4- Anchor bolt
