Difference Cats vs. Dogs
Dogs VS. Cats I am going to compare and contrast the things that dogs and cats have in common and what is different between our hairy little pets. There are a lot of similarities but there are also a lot of differences between them. First, we will talk about the similarities that these two creatures share. One of the most obvious things in common between these two animals is that they both have hair. They are also domesticated animals people have them as pets. They have to have love and affection from their owner, and they can dish out love and affection if you show it to them. Another thing is that when you pet them, it doesn’t only relieve stress, it can get dog or cat hair everywhere. They both give birth to more than one kitten or puppy at a time. Now that I am done with my explanation of the things that both cats and dogs have.
I will be continuing with the differences between these two loving animals. One of the main differences is their species. The cats belong to the family of felines, and dogs are canines. Another difference is that dogs are pack animals. That means you have to spend lots of time with your dog so that it doesn’t get lonely and sad. Cats are loners, which means they can spend much time alone without even caring. Another huge difference is the sounds that come out of their mouths. A dog goes woof, bark, growl, or howl. A cat, on goes meow and purr. The canine family also has a particular social status, how they determine their rank. Cats don’t care. The determining factor in dogs is its tail. When a cat sticks its tail up, it means it’s happy, but when it comes to dogs, how high they hold their tail is how they tell their rank. If one dog meets another dog, and one holds its tail up, it is the one of the higher social class. Another difference is that cats are nocturnal, meaning they go out at night. Dogs, however, are day animals. Another very easy difference between dogs and cats is that dogs are a lot bigger than cats well most of the

Dogs are playful but they don’t bite or scratch you like cats always do. We have lots of friends with cats and all they want to do is scratch me with their sharp little claws which isn’t very fun. Kittens, just like puppies are very playful and active but once they grow-up they become pretty boring. Dogs will only bite you if they’re being protective or feel very threatened. Cats just seem to want to scratch you all the time. Dogs also love to be around people. My dog Misty love to wake me up in the morning by racing into my room, jumping up on my bed and giving me kisses. She also jumps all over me and wags her tail when I get home from school and lets me lay down on her like a pillow when I’m tired. I don’t think a cat would do these types of things.…
