We begin with “Conflict Avoidance and Happiness,” because it is a higher imperative of human happiness existence than “Conflict
Management and Happiness.”

318. “Conflict Management” is essential, but it is management after-the- fact. Conflict Avoidance is a more potent strategy than Conflict Management, deserving of more emphasis, research and study.

319. Conflict and happiness may appear as a contradictory assertion.
On the one hand, conflict connotes disagreement between and among people. It implies, somewhat falsely that the opposing sides will be in a perpetual struggle. On the other hand, happiness suggests a non-conflict situation, harmony, and good feelings among people.

Human beings are free to use our “intelligent capacity” for constructive or destructive purposes. We can influence our destiny to promote conflict and unhappiness, or positively, to foster concord and happiness. The choice is ours.

For humankind to benefit from “Spiritual Intelligence” (SQ) we must first believe that there is a higher SQ otherwise; we relegate our higher purpose to disbelief, doubt and futility.

329. Fortunately, for the human family, we have always had access to “Spiritual Intelligence” (SQ), to enable us to tap into a higher source of intelligence to guide humanity along a path of fulfillment, past, present and future.

330. “Human Intelligence” (HQ) is limited to material knowledge; hence, we have a great capacity to create “Artificial Intelligence” (AI) in machines. The overwhelming growth in AI has benefitted humankind, and at the same time increased our capacity for conflict with disastrous consequences.
