THE CLEAN KITCHEN

ABSTRACT
A major tool in the development of a service, a product or a business model is the ideation phase, in which different concepts are considered. To build relevant and substantial data that will support a chosen concept for further development or to adjust it to better cope with market trends, there is a need of a scientifically based research approach that uses different methodologies. Each methodology answers to a specific question in the development phase. This research tools-starting from a broader perspective on lifestyle and social behavior and to ones that focuses on a selected idea that will be tested by prospective users to evaluate the concept in the more advanced stages of the development will help to build a strong and rational outcome that have high success probabilities. In our project, we used several different methodologies to assess a possible concept around the home environment – the outcome of which would help formalize new a business question that will in term, create new directions for future products and systems. PURPOSE
Practice the different research methodologies, through f ocus on a specific area of interest. Simulating the process and methodologies needed to master the research part in the devolvement of a business question aimed at creating new ideas for services, products and systems. All based on strong scientific approach to support any decision in the devolvement process.

PROCESS
Gathering information from available resources on the matter at hand- creating of a business question.
Gain more insight through a survey –gathering quantitative f eedback data to help us filter and focus our business question more and create specific answers to build a clear and relevant concept. To further develop our question into

    The importance of business research in today 's growing economy is essential in predicting the performance of a business. Analyzing what a company’s weaknesses and strengths are can help in understanding why business research is necessary. It also focuses on problems and issues and solves these issues. The experience I have acquired in trying to establish a start-up company needs extensive research and hard work. The market research we performed also captured the strategies that competitors currently have that we can capitalize on by what they do not offer and create a higher return to our productivity and services. The importance of business research in today’s economy is decisive because it allows for managers to make decisions that impact businesses and provide information that will bring higher returns and productivity. Organizations methods for business research also include using the scientific method. This analysis allows for reporting, descriptive, explanatory, and predictive studies.
