Descriptive beach essay
Hwy 30A Thousands of excited people head to Seagrove Beach every year. The smell of saltwater, the taste of the delicious food, and the view of the glimmering blue ocean all come together to make for a memorable place. Vacations help us relax from our daily lives. Visiting Seagrove is a joyous occasion for me every few weeks I go. The sights, smells, and tastes of the beach put my senses on end every time. My brother feels the same way when we go to the beach. The smell of the salty water gives me excitement the second I hit the bridge on the way to the beach. Driving into the first part of Hwy 30A, the smell of sea life hits your nose. I smell the somewhat greasy fish in the air. Small restaurants line the street sides with food sizzling on the grills. The smell of fresh fried fish and zesty lemon is everywhere. Smells of sand and water mix into the air when I walk onto the beach. I will never forget those smells at Seagrove Beach. My mind will always instantly be reminded of Seagrove when I smell saltwater, lemony fish, and all the grills cooking food. The smells make Seagrove a memorable vacation. One of the first things I think of when I hit the beautiful beach is the zesty delicious foods. There are hundreds of exciting restaurants to choose from in Seagrove. Each restaurant has their own unique twist on seafood. The Village Market is one of the local restaurants in Seagrove. When you walk in the door you can already taste the sweet and sour spices being used on a daily basis. I always get a succulent moist grouper sandwich. The meal comes with homemade fresh cut fries. Village Market does have numerous things on their menu to choose from though. They have fresh crisp garden salads covered in wild peppery shrimp. Seagrove will always be memorable to me because of the deliciously sweet and crispy foods from Village Market. Driving over the bridge coming into Seagrove beach is a marvelous sight. Beaches of bright white sands and glimmering deep blue

The first few steps after the boardwalk may feel rather rocky due to scattered sediments and tiny pebbles sticking on to the soles of your feet, but by halfway to the ocean, it starts getting smooth and cooler with every step you take. If laying around and catching some ray is not your type of fun, there are beach volleyball courts set up, kites to be flown here and safe swimming with lifeguards on the look out. Gazing at the sandy shore, you can see the roaring waves rushing in, toppling forts and castles made out of silken sands that shimmers under the blazing sun like tiny luminous stars in the night sky. Take advantage of this peaceful, quiet moment by standing on the shoreline and wait for the rolling ocean water slide by the ankles of your leg. As the waves try to pull back in, you will feel a sinking sensation on the heels of your foot due to the pressure of your weight and the surrounding sand. Lastly, there is an area for youths with a big, plastic palm tree set up in the middle and tiny sprinklers around it, spraying cold, chilling drops that can be felt even to the people strolling on the boardwalk. The beach is always crowded with families and couples to enjoy on their days off and especially on Friday nights, gorgeous firework shoot off can be seen starting at 9:30p.m. (Only during the summer…

Have you ever wanted something so bad that once you have it you kind of sit back and reevaluate everything that just happened and you just need a small breather to take everything in? There’s just something about nature that takes my breath away and takes me to a different dimension. It makes feel so calm and so at ease with myself. It makes me feel joy just looking at the small things in life. It makes me appreciate the smallest things, such as a beautiful sunflower growing in my backyard, and just sitting on my royal blue towel with flowers, that would remind you of Hawaii, on the sandy beach with my feet stretched out in front me staring into the ocean ,while squinting my eyes due to the powerful sun rays, takes my breath away everytime I look back into the moment I went to Myrtle Beach.…
