Describing an Ad About Jeeps
Pleasing to the Soul

The first ad is part of a long line of vehicles made by jeep, introducing a new way of driving. The most typical person to buy a jeep is one that would like to be outdoors a lot, maybe travel and be in the woods, or go off-road a little. This ad seems to call out to a different crowd, like your everyday worker or your family man. At the bottom of the ad it says “Introducing Jeep Compass. The Urban Recreational Vehicle” this is telling you that this vehicle is not just for outdoorsman, but could also easily fit into everyone’s everyday lives. It displays a certain character about how only certain types of people like to buy jeeps and will show you how much other people will like the changes, by showing you that the vehicle could be fun in the city as well as in the wilderness. This ad also shows a bunch of things that you would find throughout cities around the world and is in the formation of a person that is meditating on top of the car. This brings to mind a thinking of peace and harmony while owning this vehicle. The other ad is geared towards working people and people that maybe stressed or in need of something that will help them relax. The ad shows a big red bowl in the middle and a nice laced white table cloth underneath showing that this could be for a much nicer life style person. The ad is centered around the cup and saucer, because they want you to read what is written in the cup. At the bottom it reads “your day may not slow down, but for a moment, you can. This is showing that just because you have a long day at work, or you can’t get away from running around for other people, you can always grab a cup of this and take a moment. When thinking about the picture, it shows a jeep on a platform overlooking the water and then the city. The open water followed by the city kind of keeps you open minded to the possibilities of what this jeep can do or where it can go or how you will feel once inside the jeep. The City
