One of the key in-groups which I am a part of would have to be my age group which is that of the young twenty-somethings. My in-group has influenced my ways of thinking about the world since I am largely subjected towards the ideas of others within my generation which in turn affects my own views. One great example of this would probably have to be with regards to the usage of technology since those in their twenties widely are dependent on such technologies which in some sense makes me dependent on them since I must use them to be the norm. Of course being in this in-group also strongly affects how I view out-groups, most notably those of older generations due to generational differences in how the world is viewed.

This works out quite effectively since bureaucratic work environments can be harmful since they generally are most concerned with the well-being of the bureaucracy even if that leads to inferior work. A democratic leader helps to combat this since the group as a whole is much more likely to create productive work since they are not bound to pleasing the bureaucracy involved. Thus if I were to lead a group through a project I would employ the concepts of democratic leadership to yield the best
