Discipline at school
School discipline is the system of rules, punishments and behavioural strategies appropriate to the regulation of students and the maintenance of order in schools. Its aim is to create a safe and conducive learning environment in the classroom.
A disciplined student is in compliance with the school rules and codes of conduct. These rules may, for example, define the expected standards of clothing, timekeeping, social behaviour and work ethic. The term discipline is also applied to the punishment that is the consequence of breaking the rules. The aim of discipline is to set reasonable limits which protect students from harm and teach them what is safe and what is not.
But right now everything is changed. Students now have the feeling that rules are made so that they are broken. Even in the parliament the same situation goes on.
It is our generation that can only change this behaviour of everyone. So as students of ggis it is our responsibility to be in discipline, maintain them and not to be broken.
Being the yellow house vice-captain I assure you that we will try our best in maintaining the discipline of our school. Here are a few things that we would like to share with everyone so that we make our school the best.
1st. Maintain self-discipline within yourself.
2nd. do not hit or swear at others.
3rd. maintain the school properties.
4th. if the teacher is not there at class try being self-disciplined and don’t make much of a chaos.

2. Be cooperative.
3. Respect others and the property of others.
4. Always remain on task.
1. Be on time, be on task, and be prepared.
2. Demonstrate respect for yourself, other students and property.
3. Behave appropriately at all times.
1. Follow directions and instructions.
