PARALYZED

DEFINITION FOR PARALYZED:
-To make powerless and unable to function partly or wholly/ incapable to move

Have you ever been in a situation where you felt powerless, you couldn’t move you, couldn’t think straight and it felt like you were numb?

I was In a car accident in high school a car pulled out in front of us and we T-boned. My friend who was behind me didn’t have her seat belt on and with the impact flew into my seat causing the seat and my back to break in two places. I had two crushed and fractured vertebrate, torn spleen, bruised ribs, and severe whiplash.

I remember blacking out and when I came to I was gasping for air and at the same time trying to make sure everyone else in the car was ok. Once I calmed down and could breath freely, I tried to

While he speaks lies into our ears like we’re ugly, stupid, not loveable, not good enough, no one likes us, we aren't worthy for a second chance, there's no need for us to be a part, you have no friends your talents aren't good enough here, if you do it you will fall on your face!!!

God is calling to you in the still small voice, While the devil is screaming in your face all the things that are wrong with you. And because the thoughts are so loud we give up and think it must be true if I keep thinking it over and over.

We think its just to hard to fight…we live in a world where we are always looking for the easy way out!

We cannot apply this to our walk with God. It’s not going be easy but it’s going to be worth it! There’s is going to be some mountains that we have to climb but when we get to the top the view is going to surpass all the scrapes and bruises it took to get up there!

so merciful, why do people have to fear him? Are we to believe there is nowhere we can turn to escape fear? If you have to fear God, why not be "Satan fearing" and at least have the fun that being God fearing denies you?” (45) This novel excerpt from The Satanic Bible plays around with the term “god fearing” and, in a way, mocks some of the church’s teachings. Most of us grow up believing that the cosmic battle between God and the devil is representative of good and evil, god being good and the devil being evil. However, this is can bring about some confusion when you look at the…

Satan tries to distract us all day every day. He can use so many different things that sometimes we do not even realize that they are distractions. Satan can use televisions, cellphones, computers, gossip, relationships, and even friends and family to distract us. When we are in church or youth group and we are supposed to be focusing on worshipping God or listening to the message we are supposed to receive, Satan can attack us. He will make you start thinking about different things like, “What am I going to wear tomorrow?” or, “I have way too much homework tonight!” causing us to forget about the real reason we are there, which is for God. Satan does not always have to use the same distraction. Sometimes he uses death. When a family member dies, everyone in the family is obviously very upset. Some people think, “Why did God take this person away from me?” and that can cause the person to get angry with God. You can easily be distracted by all of your emotions and can just simply forget about God. Sometimes Satan uses electronics as distractions. A lot of people will be watching television, or working on their phones and computers when they should really be at church or reading the Word of God. They believe that their work and play comes before…

Living a life like this for years brought me to notice I didn’t even have a firm relationship with God, but a relationship where I came to him when I needed him. Sleep paralysis is something only a few people experience in their lifetime. I have never experienced it myself but from doing the research on it is hard to believe someone goes through it and multiple times. The thought of someone being paralyzed is pretty scary but the really scary part is what people see during it. Many people see things we only hear about and during the sleep paralysis it can seem more real and frightening than a regular dream. Scientist have said sleep paralysis only means you have woken up before you body does but many people disagree.…

This thinking is from Satan. "Satan's utmost deception is to convince us that God's love isn't good ... that He is holding out on us." Another part in the book that really stuck with me was: "How is God wooing us through flat tires, bounced checks, and rained-out picnics? What is he after as we face cancer, sexual struggles, and abandonment?" But the thing is, "His wooing seems wild because he seeks to free our hearts from the attachments and addictions we've chosen, thanks to the Arrows we've known"…

I believe it is not enough to just talk the talk, but you must walk the walk as well. The Bible tells that we must walk by faith; walk in the light, walk in the truth, the Bible says we are to walk in fellowship with one another, walk in honesty, walk in wisdom, walk worthy of the Lord, walk pleasingly to the Lord, and walk in the spirit and to walk with him. I feel God test us every day and he will test you, the test may come unplanned and unexpected, may be uncomfortable and unpleasant, but is necessary in order to grow in spiritual maturity, God is more concerned with your character than with your comfort. So, my advice to anyone is just pass the test. There are only a couple of reasons that I can think of to fail God’s test, one is to Doubt him and the other is being double minded. What I mean by being double minded is that you are concentrating on something other than what God desires to do in you. Benefits of passing the test, is that gives you endurance and perseverance, Godly wisdom, powerful prayer, increase faith, and the crown of life. What do you do when you fall into trials or difficulties? You reflect, ponder, and watch for God at work in you, through you, and around you. Pray for wisdom, courage, and faith, and grow to spiritual maturity---Pass the test! It is one thing to talk the talk but God desires us to walk the walk.…

When I read this phrase it picked up my attention right away because I am a true believer that God always help us and never is going to leave us alone but, at the same time, I believe it is our job to be smart and choose the best choice. When I was 18 years old, God opened a door so I came to United States to play Soccer and to get a scholarship. Before that opportunity, I was not very close from Christ and never went to church and read the bible very often. Being here, I meet great people, the family that I stay with help me to get closer to God and I started going every Sunday to church and reading the bible more often. Since that moment, God is more present in my life and working through my life showing me His intimate love. With Christ being in my heart, my life has grown stronger and I try to follow His way the best that I can. The NIV of Proverbs 3:5-6 states, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; acknowledge Him and He will make you path straight.”…
