EVERYONE IS (NOT) BEAUTIFUL
For us, women, we know what we aim to look like every day. Some of us want to look beautiful, to look pretty. By definition, something beautiful is something that pleases the senses aesthetically. By society, beautiful is defined by white, porcelain skin, and a tall, slender figure. Sure, that is what people think is beautiful. But some of us just don't care. Everyone is beautiful, right?
Wrong. You knowyou are supposed to think that you are pretty in your own way, but you also know that you are not what people nowadays think is the definition of beautiful, so what do you do? What's beautiful right now and 100 years ago is completely different. For example, people in ancient Greek used to think that uni-brows are beautiful. And even if everyone in this world looked like Barbies, there would still be a small amount of Barbies with a slightly crooked nose,or a waistline that is not as small, that people will then call ugly. You cannot force anyone to say that everyone is beautiful because nothing can ever be beautiful if nothing is repulsive.
And it is true, that you should learn to love yourself. It’s not because you are beautiful, but because you have something you can be proud of and because you have something to show. Maybe you do not have any talent that you are aware of, and you have always struggled to succeed in anything, but that does not mean you are not talented. That means that you are a fighter. Things do not come easy to you, but you have worked your whole life to perform as well as you do now.And it is crazy to think that you have more willpower inside of you than that jock who is naturally gifted at basketball for instance.
You are not a piece of trash. Even if the only thing you have to show is a collection of stamps for instance, that shows how diligent you are, how patient and organized you are, and how good you are in staying motivated at doing something for quite a long
