Memorable moment Have you ever screamed to death at Six Flags, because i did on the Titan ,It was my first time going to six flags and I did not know what to expect on any of the rides and I was on it and we were going on it and we were going up it and as soon as we hit the top of the ride I could see the entire place from up there. It was like I was above the clouds and I was god,And then it went zooming fast down that one tall mountain on the titan and my hair was everywhere and spit was fling and we turned hard right and then we did a hard left and then we went up and then we went down and then we went into a dark tunnel and then the light hit us and then the camera took a picture and then we came to a hard stop and then we were slowly

Everyone thinks that Disney World is fun but when I was 4 I thought it was scary. All of those princess’ and scary statues scared me. But the rides were even worse. When I saw the Rockin’ Rollercoaster I freaked out. I knew that my mom would make me try a new something new like the Rockin Rollercoaster. And that's exactly what she did. I don’t really like trying new things but I knew that my sister and my mom would do it too and they wanted to have fun with me. Somehow she knew that I would love that ride.…

My best childhood memory is going to Six Flags. Me, Tommy, Anthony, and Connor are going to Six Flags. Their mom is taking us. I was very excited to go to Six Flags because it would be my first time going. When we finally got there. We parked the car and walked to the gates. When we got into the park. Connor wanted to ride the cyclone. Tommy and Anthony asked if I wanted to ride it. I said, “No.” but they pulled me into doing it. So, we waited in line. When we got to the front of the line. We got on the roller coaster and the ride started. When we started to go up I was nervous. When we got to the top, and as we were going down I couldn’t even hear myself scream. After the ride we rode rides around the park. Then, we went to the water park…

While there we also visited my grandpa who lived on a ranch where it rained avocadoes. Gates that had grown green and fluffy moss at the corners opened up. I saw two monster, bright, neon green four wheelers. My heart beating and being the daredevil of my siblings I was jumping with excitement! Once we were all settled two of my older cousins decided to start the four wheelers up. As I heard the engines roar to life my cousins hollered who wanted a ride. The rest of my cousins beat me to the line and I was last. Standing there impatiently waiting and watching as they sped off into the trees and not returning for about twenty minutes each. The anticipation was killing me! While kicking dirt around I heard the engine coming from a distance, Finally my turn! To my luck my cousins were tired and hopped off the motors. My excitement crushed instantly. My dad came to the rescue and told me he would take me. Excitement…

Climbing into the lime green car, my fear was over taking me. I was getting ready to ride the Titan, an adrenaline pumping roller coaster ride at Six Flags. It was easily the scariest ride at the park, in my opinion, with its enormous peaks, its deep descents, and double helix like turns was enough to make me sick. The ride began. Ascending up in the car on the canary yellow track, into the humidity filled, bright sky, the people observing from below resembled little army ants . The aerial view of Dallas was breathtaking, as I reached the peak of the ride and looked around. Passengers occupying the cars in front of me started falling off, like a cliff. I let out a high-pitched shrill, as we plummeted toward the Earth below. Traveling…

My original goal for the first day was to stop for the night in Green River, UT so we'd be close to our destination the next morning. Unfortunately, the Motel 6 was booked solid for the night. I checked Grand Junction and not only did the Motel 6 have rooms available, but it was $20/night cheaper than Green River. Over the years of traveling with my beasts, I've decided that Motel 6 best fits our needs. Not only are they exceptionally dog friendly, but also very reasonably priced (dogs stay free at most which saves a lot) - they may be a bit spartan for some but fit our travel needs very well.…

It was a sunny day and my mom finally let my older sister and I go to Six Flags alone. Little did I know, we weren’t going to make it to Six Flags at all? When I got on the CTT Bus I couldn’t wait- it would be my first time on the goliath. “Last stop everyone off” yelled the bus driver. When I got off I mentioned to my sister “This does not look like Six Flags” “I think we missed our stop and we are lost “she answered. I started to look for any thing I noticed. But all I saw was two large buildings and lots of people.…

Imagine a state fair packed with people and every second you get sacked, the fairs like a football game and you’re on offense and you keep trying to dodge the defensive end. The fair is really expensive, the rides are five dollars apiece, when I went on the tilt a whirl the person that operated the ride got on without being in a seat so right before the ride ended he ran into me but for some reason I was laughing hysterically. The guy must have gotten hurt because when I went back I looked over at the ride and then I saw a new guy operating the ride. After that I went on a ride that looked like a spider and that ride went really fast as fast as a rabbit running away from a hunter, I was on the ride for seven minutes it just kept going up and…

Las Vegas is exactly what I thought it would be in so many ways. I never thought a place could live so fully up to its famous and infamous reputation. From the slot machines to the nudity. Its almost like the entire place just never found its filter. "Southern Hospitality" was null and void and I'm guessing never even heard of let alone considered. Its just the complete rawness was something I'm not used to it at all. In the south everyone is so much more conservative and worried about what they look like in other people's eyes. It just seems like everyone there was so much more worried about themselves and their own lives they didn't have time to be worried with others. There was also this sense of togetherness and understanding. Not necessarily…

Today is one of those rare days in which it is raining and I’m sitting on the windowsill waiting for a sign. Something that says ‘move on’. There is still a part of me that hopes every day that you're alive and I haven't found you yet. I will have searched the far corners of the earth before I let myself believe you dead. I dream of you every night, then wake with the bitter taste of regret fresh in my mouth. You abandoned me. You have marooned me on this earth, and it is dark without your light by my side. All that fills my mind is when you were still beside me. I distinctly recall one summer when we were not quite children anymore and still too young to be adults. It was raining so hard that the streets were flooded for the first time in eighty years, and you had insisted on escaping to the desert.…

Some nights I dream about Michael. He’s coming home from college for christmas break and he’s brought a girl with him. Our family is sitting at the dinner table and he’s giving my sister’s new boyfriend a hard time. He’s sitting in the audience, whooping and hollering as I walk across the stage and receive my diploma. Other times, he’s standing in a waiting room, introducing my sisters and me to his little girl. I dream about all of the moments my family and I never got to have with him and my heart breaks every single time. Michael has been gone for almost 16 years and yet he is still with me every day. I dream about him and what could have been; what should have been. Michael’s death teaches me something new almost every day. I have learned what loss is, how to deal with it, and how to grow from it.…

I made myself breakfast in bed. I added salt and pepper to my eggs and used my toast to create a cheese and bacon sandwich. I squeezed the juice, the life from a grapefruit into a glass. I scraped the charred remains from the frying pan and rinsed the red substance off the counter. I washed the dishes and folded the towels.…

My parents jokingly say I have a knack for “ruining” things and “dodging death.” According to them, I ruined my mom’s lesson at school the day I was born. At the time she was a third grade teacher, and she had to bail on her children unexpectedly because of me. I was born later that day, December 10, 1999, in the Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden, Arkansas.…

“Wooooshhhhh!!!” At blast off, California Screamin, took us through twists and turns, with an upside down loop. People were screaming their lungs out when the steel roller coaster soared into the air like a rocket. The terrifying speed made my toes curl and the strong wind pushed my head against the rubber black seat. I cried bloody murder on the coaster as it fell plumb down almost touching the ground. All too soon, it was over. After I got off of the thrill ride, I found my haggard look with disheveled hair through a snapshot picture. This is simply too awful to contemplate.…
