David Rochester As A Clinical Leader
Quincy Adams once said that, “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader”. In healthcare there are a number of health positions that are always required to help patients with all sorts of ailments. No matter what aspect of a system you are in there will always be a leader in the profession that will need to delegate and manage a system or clinical system. There is an astronomical amount of characteristics of leadership to name a few; being a good communicator, delegator, evaluative, organized and being able to merge the members consistently are some qualities of a good leader. In this case study David Rochester is a Clinical Leader that enjoys his role in a Palliative Care clinical setting. …show more content…
According to Kickul & Neuman they believe that one implicit assumption in organization and group research is that leaders play an integral part in modeling team work and selling priorities for team members to successfully engage in teamwork process and outcomes …show more content…

In conclusion, ultimately to be successful all professionals need to on all levels of the system must have knowledge required to implement the necessary actions within the system. He must continue to emerge and rely more on his team as the leader with respect the fact that his team is only as good as its leader; so if he equips them with all the needed information they can be more effective with in the clinical microsystem.
