    David Hyde Pierce was born on the 3rd of April 1959, in Saratoga, New York. He is the youngest out of 3 siblings. David is the son of George and Laura Pierce, both are deceased. His father was an actor and performed locally. His mother was an insurance agent. He has 2 sisters and their names are Barbara and Nancy. His brother’s name is Thomas. He had an interest in music but it was mostly Piano. He regularly played the organ at Bethesda Episcopal Church. David found out he had a love for drama when he went to High School. When he graduated in 1977, he earned the Yaddo Medal. The Yaddo Medal is to show academic achievement and personal character. He still had a very strong love for music which lead to him studying the classical piano in Yale university. He grew bored with the musical history lessons and realized he wasn’t dedicated enough for it. So, this lead to him going back to his love for drama.
