Damien Memorial: Strengthes And Weaknesses
We all share weaknesses as well as strengths however, we also share our strengths to strengthen each other’s weaknesses. The campus I have chosen to call mines is one that will be remembered for its versatility and compassion. I have never stepped foot on a campus where everyone is so accepting towards each other despite our differences. It is one thing to have many best friends, however, here at Damien we have family instead. From prior experiences, I have come to the realization that school is a very competitive setting where relationships cannot be built if you lack common interests. However, Damien has taught me otherwise because at this high school, we do not allow our weaknesses to define us.
Here at Damien, our strengths and our weaknesses bring us together rather than segregating us. When you think of high school, you may think of cliques and the usual stereotypes but this student body excels at abolishing them. We come together as one, equivalent community by helping each other rather than judging each other because of our differences. All of us have goals set that we are working to achieve and being in an environment like Damien Memorial makes our greatest difficulties diminish easily. Our classmates, teachers, coaches, and staff are all here to help us better ourselves in ways that no other student body would be able to accomplish. …show more content…
Unlike many, we use our advantages to help those around us to better themselves. We do not flaunt ourselves and boast about what makes us superior to others. Instead, we come together as brothers and sisters to learn that our differences, strengths, and weaknesses are not there to degrade our self esteem.
