I think that Sam should have stopped the man and talked to him, sometimes that’s all it takes to change a bad situation and prevent future violence. Sam also should have notified not only his boss but also the finance director and supervisor and let them know what he witnessed. Mediation could have helped the situation and changed the outcome drastically. I think that company policies should include but not be limited to notify immediately the supervisors of distraught parties. The company may also invest in a company counselor or mediator who is trained in crisis prevention and can help disgruntled employees. Employee’s my find that having someone to talk to is of great benefit to them and will result in happier employees.…

PPE is a vital part to an investigation; not only for preserving the crime scene but also ensuring the safety of the forensic scientist. PPE comes in all shapes and forms, ranging from latex or nitrile gloves, bubble suits, face masks, eye protection etc. In this lab, the group investigated the living room where a suspected stabbing occurred (living room 1). The PPE required for this investigation included: latex gloves, disposable filter masks, and shoe covers. Each piece of PPE was significant to protect the forensic scientist against exposure (1). I contend that to do nothing would be a major mistake. From a Kantian perspective, it is your duty to take action to protect yourself and others from future advances. Staying silent is equivalent to allowing the situation to persist. Rule Utilitarianism also dictates immediate action by all victims of such harassment, as action by all reduces the potential cost incurred by individuals. Practically speaking, doing nothing also opens the door for Brian to take preemptive action by distorting the facts to protect…
Teachers and teaching assistants have a duty of care to their students and because they have daily contact with them they are able to identify any signs of abuse, neglect, failure to develop or any unusual change in behaviour. If a member of staff has any knowledge or suspicion that a child is or has been suffering in silence then they must take action, the usual course of action will be to consult with the designated colleague or if absent the most senior member of staff available. Furthermore the student must be informed that this information cannot be kept confidential and will be passed onto the appropriate person. An immediate written record of the conversation passed must include information such as dates and time reported, dates and place of alleged abuse, the names of all the people involved, nature of alleged and description of any injuries observed, any information contributed by siblings or friends and finally confirmation that the student has been advised of the next steps.…

If there are concerns that a colleague is abusing a child in any way, then immediate action is required. This action is the same as if the abuser was anyone else be it parent or stranger and the Child Protection Officer must be informed, or if they are thought to be responsible for the abuse then you can go straight to the County Council. Although this is a very difficult situation , the first priority is the welfare of the child.…
