For the treatment of cancer most of the drugs currently available but they have limited therapeutic potential because they are very toxic, expensive, highly inappropriate action in treating cancer, or having so many side effects like granulocytopenia, agranulocytosis, lymphocytopenia, alopecia, carcinogenicity or secondary cancer especially leukaemias and hyperuricaemia etc. Curcumin is one such natural herbal medicine, derived from the extraction of dried rhizome of turmeric or Curcumin longa, contain bioactive compounds with powerful therapeutic properties[1-3] therefore, it has been used for thousands of years in the orient as a healing agent for variety of illnesses like as a anti-inflammatory disease,[4] it help to increase antioxidant …show more content…

The non toxic nature of the AuNPs-Curcumin described through biocompatibility studies using human blood cells.[27] In order to improve bioavailability Poddar et. al. have also given a new protocol of AuNPs-Curcumin conjugates and evaluated antioxidant properties of curcumin, which they confirmed by the 2,2-diphenyl-l-picryl hydrazyl (DPPH) radical test. In their synthesis curcumin again act as reducing and capping agent, and help to stabilize gold for long time.     The PLGAh and PLGAh+Q carrier was tested by these assay for rate of apoptosis in the in Michigan cancer foundation (MCF-7) cell lines. The control was the normal cancer cell lines without any PLGAh and PLGAh-Q carrier. The PLGAh carrier was tested in assay in two different concentrations which was found above 1.5 µg and 3.0 µg. The summation of early and late apoptosis was just 8 % in concentration of 1.5 µg and in concentration of the 3.0 µg it was found to be 15 %. But PLGAh-Q in the concentration of 1.5 µg showed approximately 45 % of apoptosis (early+ late). But when concentration was increased to the 3.0 µg the apoptosis was (early + late) found to be 60 %. So it is concluded that PLGAh carrier in various concentration (1.5 µg and 3.0 µg) does not show any significant apoptosis but the PLGAh-Q carrier showed increase in apoptotic activity by increasing the concentration of drug from 1.5 µg to 30 µg.     To present an effective experiment the following equipment: copper wire, hot plate, 3M HCl(aq), 6M HNO3(aq), 6M NaOH (aq), 2 M H2SO4, 100ml beaker, graduated cylinder, filter flask, Buchner funnel/vacuum flask , scale, and pipets alongside the fume hood--for the omission of NO2-- was used to conduct the copper cycle experiment. First, the given copper wire (.29g) was cut into minute pieces then placed in a beaker with the aqueous solution of HNO3. The beaker was then placed on the hot plate to present a blue transparent homogenous mixture of Copper (II) Nitrate(aq)—Cu(NO3)2(aq). The reaction of copper and HNO3 was oxidative due to a gas being produced within the reaction. Secondly, lab group 6 took the Copper (II) Nitrate and slowly added 125 drops of NaOH by way of a pipet. Lab group 6 noticed solid blue crystals begin to form almost immediately, thus presenting a precipitate (s) and the compound Copper Hydroxide(s)—Cu(OH)2. For the third reaction, 90 drops of H2SO4 from the pipet was introduced to the Copper Hydroxide(s) to create an acid/base neutral reaction to form Copper Sulfate(aq)—CuSO4(aq).
