Stage description
Unreflective
One is not aware of the role critical thinking is playing inn one’s life and the good and bad problems that critical thinking causes.
Challenged
One is aware of the role critical thinking plays and has the ability to notice that their thinking problems are causing more serious problems
Beginning
One takes up the challenge of critical thinking and is able to recognize the problems in their way of thinking and better understands how to improve their thinking
Practicing
One is able to notice the habits that are needed to take charge of the way one thinks and notice that the problems need to be dealt with on an everyday basis
Part 2: Your Thinking
Write a 75- to 150-word explanation of your current level of critical-thinking development, and explain why you placed yourself at that stage.
Because I have previously taken part of this course I feel that my critical thinking is at the beginning stages. I tend to take on the challenge of critical thinking and I know how to improve my critical thinking in a way that I am able to recognize problems and tend to work the problems out for a better ending than I use to when I previously took this course. I tend to recognize more and take more time to make an ending decision versus the first time I would just make a decision quickly.
