According to Steven Briggs article "Important Theories in Criminology:
Why People Commit Crime ,he discusses vividly that in examining why
people commit crime is very important in trying to decipher the ongoing
debate of how crime should be managed and prevented(Briggs2009).
Social disorganization theory is defined as an inability of community
members to achieve shared values or to solve jointly experienced
problems(Bursik1988) , if you were to even further on this topic then
it could be said that a persons social environments are somewhat
responsible for the choices a person makes . In particular , a
neighborhood that has deminishing social features is more likely then
none to have extremely high crime
