1553/Deputy Barber and Deputy Stewart en route
1559/Deputy Barber and Deputy Stewart arrived on scene
1601/Body of an elderly woman was discovered in a nearby ditch
1602/Deputy Barber requests Coroner and CSI
1605/Bodies of infant male, young male, young female, middle-aged female, and middle-aged male found in nearby wooded area
1625/Coroner Blake Joseph arrived on scene
1627/CSI Hunter Jiles arrived on scene
1655/Bodies transported to morgue by Coroner

Initial Notification:
Sheriff dispatch received notification at 1550 on July 16, 1953 from Allyson Adele reporting an overturned vehicle in a roadside ditch approximately 5 miles off the highway on County Road 1322-192. Deputy Barber and Deputy Stewart were directed to respond and arrived on scene at 1559. After their preliminary investigation and securing the scene, at the request of Deputy Barber, Coroner Blake Joseph and CSI Hunter Jiles were requested. Deputy Barber’s preliminary investigation revealed that multiple fatal shootings had occurred. For further details of the initial response, refer to Deputy Barber’s report. Details of the processing investigation follow in subsequent sections of this report.
Scene Description:
Upon arrival at the scene at 1559, I discovered an overturned vehicle near the North side of the road. A large puddle of blood was located approximately 10 ft. from the car. Pictures were taken of the puddle of blood (#47841.01). A search of the immediate area surrounding the puddle of blood turned up pistol ammunition casings. The evidence was bagged (#47841.02).
