Creative Writing: Frankenstein's Monster

Optics flickered towards the west a smile drawing itself upon the lips of the male. He adored moons such as this, known readily in the ancient world as the harvest or wolf moon, the circular orb in the sky shown such as this only twice per year; once in the spring and once in the fall during the equinox consisting of exactly 12 hours of day and 12 hours of night. Such moons were both a blessing and a curse, for though they granted better light in which to hunt by it also meant the prey was able to see the predator with increased ease as there were fewer shadows in which to stalk. Those who defied him were put in their place and those who failed to learn their place were destroyed. But such hostility did not stem from just anywhere. No, he might have been a monster, a monster's monster....but make no mistake he was not beyond civilized conversation and the ability to talk things out, even if those talks did sometimes become a little violent. But there were times when he would hear none of the latter's words, mind having already been made up. The male was far from a dumb brute, he was highly intelligent and as crafty as they came. Sometimes he was merely playing a game, simply wanting to reveal in his own twisted pleasures. Albeit this was a side of himself he had hidden for some …show more content…
Certainly it was a particular kink of his, but he preferred destroying his enemies in the most abhorrently humiliating fashions possible. Ending another's existence in such a personal manner was the name of the game for the monster. But make no mistake, not everyone was granted this honor! Certainly it had proven to be a double edged sword in the past but with the correct knowledge of what not to do and how to prevent many of those uncomfortable experiences from happening again, it was perhaps one of the actions he enjoyed the absolute most!
Eyes widened, cranium snapping round as he laid those glowing optics upon the length of his body, staring in a rather accusing fashion at his torso. All this reminiscing over slaughter had caused his relentless hunger to spark once more, empty stomach revolting against its owner, groaning and growling rather loudly as it begged to be fed. Sometimes he honestly swore his gullet had a mind of its own, it probably did, it wouldn't surprise him if that proved to be true given exactly WHAT he was but this wasn't the time nor the place to dwell upon
