My family defines who I am as a person because they are my backbone and the reason why I strive to do my best. My mother’s family has sheltered me ever since I was born they were there for me when I had nobody. Generally I was unwanted by my other side of family, but my mother’s family never neglected me, they have made my life very easy and guided. In my understanding the reason why I said they are my backbone is because as a child( Baby) I had nothing and I was seriously ill but they never abounded me. My grandparents also went far distance into the village to find a cure to my illness and my aunties & uncle used their dorm room bed sheet as a cloth for me. This is why I appreciate everything in my life because I was a nobody as a baby.…

The Council of Trent (Latin: Concilium Tridentinum) was the 15th-century Ecumenical Council of the Roman Catholic Church. It is considered to be one of the Church's most important[1] councils. It convened in Trent (then capital of the Prince-Bishopric of Trent, inside the Holy Roman Empire, now in modern Italy) between December 13, 1545, and December 4, 1563 in twenty-five sessions for three periods. Council fathers met for the first through eighth sessions in Trent (1545-1547), and for the ninth through eleventh sessions in Bologna (1547) during the pontificate of Pope Paul III.[2] Under Pope Julius III, the council met in Trent (1551-1552) for the twelfth through sixteenth sessions. Under Pope Pius IV the seventeenth through twenty-fifth…

Families assist in your development over the lifespan. No matter what the situation is, your family is always there to support you through your journey. Though, just because they stick by your side, does not mean it is in a positive manner. It may mean they are just doing their job, following the rest of society to create an image of the perfect family, which may never exist. Though in order to maintain a healthy family, you must respect their beliefs and values.…

The 16th century was an exciting time of economic and political growth and exploration. The Renaissance, which sparked Humanism, prompted intellectual growth, which stimulated critical questions on topics such as the church fathers, and scripture that gave a completely new approach to looking at the Bible. The birth of the European Reformation (or Protestantism) is often marked by Martin Luther’s posting of The Ninety-Five Theses on October 31, 1517 protesting the Catholic Church’s sale of indulgences. Luther’s initial intent was not to separate and divide the Holy Mother Church, but to reform ill practices and corruption. However, his good intention grew into a great schism in the Church as doctrinal and canonical differences were challenged, resulting in the Council of Trent as the Church’s response to both institutional and theological issues. It is the background to the Council of Trent and theological decrees that will be addressed this writing, particularly that of the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist in session thirteen.…

Everyone’s family can be annoying at on point or another. Maybe your brother listens in on your telephone calls, or you dad wears those goofy pants whenever you friends spend the night and you mom insists on calling your friends parents to make sure they would be home during the party. But for the most part, my family is there for me. Mentioning some guy picking on you at lunch, and my brother is all over it. Dad is always ready with a corny joke to cheer my up, and my mom always knows what to say in time of need. With the holidays coming around the corner I realized how great my family is and how thankful I am to have them by my side. Seeing that this holiday might be that last time you ever see them. I will always take advantage of having a big loving family.…

First of all, my family makes me feel happy. My family is a safe harbor where I can be myself. It is not necessary for me to explain myself to my family because only they truly know who I am. I can be sure that even if someone lies to me or hurts me, my family will support me. What is more, caring about my family also makes me happy. For instance, when I buy a toy for my brother, it makes him happy; or when I give flowers to my mother, she kisses me tenderly. When I see my family healthy and smiling, my heart is filled with joy. In addition, I am happy when I loved by my family, and when they care about me. Quite often, no one can love you as much as your family. Only they will think and worry about you every second.…

During my 18 years, I’ve learned how important family is. Your family will always be there for you no matter what. My family supports me in everything I do. All their time and money cannot express how much they love me because love is more than any of that. Love between families is a special bond of time, laughs, smiles and memories. Love is something that family doesn’t have to say to each other because we already know and I am blessed to have a family that loves me in every way possible.…
