Control the grinding fineness of cement raw meal
The formation of cement clinker minerals are basically by solid phase reaction. On the premise of the raw materials in the same chemical and physical properties, the same degree of homogenization, the same rotary kiln calcining temperature and time, the solid phase reaction speed is proportional to the fineness of raw material. The larger its specific surface area is, the greater the contact area between the particles is, at the same time, the finer of the raw material is , the greater the surface free energy of particles is, the more conducive to the reaction is . Theoretically, the finer of raw material grinding is, the better of the rotary kiln clinker calcined is. But in actual production, not doing properly improving grinding fineness can reduce ball mill production, and increase energy consumption. Studies have shown that raw meal fineness exceeds certain limit (specific surface area is larger than 500 m2 / kg), the improvement of clinker quality is not obvious. Considering from the perspective of economic indicators is not reasonable. So it is necessary to determine the reasonable raw meal fineness control range through the comprehensive comparison of technical and economic index in the process of production. The reasonable raw meal fineness should include two meanings: one, a range of average fineness; Second, homogeneity of raw meal fineness, which is to control the coarse particle content in the raw material. For cement rotary kiln, the fineness of raw material must be controlled in the range to ensure the quality and appearance of cement clinker.
