ABSTRACT

This report is prepared at Ankur Chemfood Limited, Gandhidham Unit on functional areas of Ankur Chemfood Limited. It contains the brief description of the company and all its departments. It also covers the different functions performed in different departments at ANKUR CHEMFOOD LIMITED, GANDHIDHAM.

The report contains the details regarding the information related CONSUMER BEHAVIOR AND BRAND AWARENESS OF ANKUR SALT.

    Ramlan Abdul Aziz was born in Kampung Londang, Masjid Tanah, Melaka on the 13th of September 1958. He received his primary education at the Masjid Tanah English School and his secondary education at the Malacca High School. He then pursued his O levels at the Grantham College for Further Education in Lincolnshire, England. He subsequently continued with this tertiary education at University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology where he obtained both his BSc (Hons) in Chemical Engineering as well as his MSc. in Chemical Engineering. His career at UTM began in 1983 where he joined as a lecturer after his MSc. He was appointed as the first head of the newly formed Chemical Engineering Department in 1983. After serving as Chemical Engineering Department Head, he was appointed as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Chemical and Natural Resources Engineering from 1987 to 1988. In October 1988, he was appointed as Deputy Dean of Research and Consultancy Unit. From September 1992 to September 1996, he was appointed as Technology Development Manager of Business and Advanced Technology Centre (BATC). In October 1991, he was promoted to Associated Professor and later in 1997 to Professor. During his career he has been awarded the University’s Excellence Service Award in 1993 and the Faculty Excellence Service Award in 1999. He has published over 80 papers at the international and national levels in refereed journals and proceedings.
