I wish that my days started at six a.m. and that I got six to eight hours of sleep each night, but rarely that’s the case. Usually, I’m awakened somewhere between five and six by one of my two children. Half conscious I feel the tug of the covers and the weight of them climbing upon me. This is a…

In order to establish and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment I first begin with providing a clean and organized classroom. All toys and equipment are sanitized on a daily basis, all outlets are covered and all fixtures are mounted to the walls to prevent from tipping over. Upon entering the classroom every parent is required to sign a daily health check in which the teacher and the parent both assess the health of each child. Healthy meals and snacks are provided to each and every child, keeping in mind, the allergies that each child has. Medicines are also carried for each student that requires it on a daily basis. The classroom tables are wiped down and sanitized and the floor is swept after each meal. The children also brush their teeth after meals to help the children gain healthy brushing habits. The teacher child ratio is maintained at all times.…

Work takes up a large part of my day. Even though I have changed my schedule from full time to part time I am still in the office five days a week. I work at least 30 hours per week, 10 hours less than my original schedule. I am a processor and office manager for a very busy mortgage company. I process loan files, answer phones, greet clients, handle all correspondence, and process receivable accounts. At times all that can be super demanding. It is rare that I find any time to myself at work where I can take a break, catch up on personal things, or even do homework. As much as I wish I didn’t have to work I know that even through the hectic…
The aim of this plan is to maintain and promote Molly’s mental health as she goes through an important and potentially difficult postpartum period of her life, where her mental state is more vulnerable to possible decline. This plan outlines the factors that can affect Molly’s mental health, identifies needs and risks and lists possible interventions to address those needs and risks.…
Slowing down could be as simple as taking ten minutes each day to meditate. It could mean giving yourself permission to sit and read a novel all evening, instead of catching up on your to-do list. Or it might involve having a vacation somewhere relaxing, to get away from the busyness of daily life.…
Go to bed early, get up early--this is wise. Some authorities say get up with the sun; some say get up with one thing, others with another. But a lark is really the best thing to get up with. It gives you a splendid reputation with everybody to know that you get up with the lark; and if you get the right kind of lark, and work at him right, you can easily train him to get up at half past nine, every time--it’s no trick at all.…

Set a regular bedtime. Go to bed at the same time every night. Choose a time when you normally feel tired, so that you don’t toss and turn. Try not to break this routine on weekends when it may be tempting to stay up late. If you want to change your bedtime, help your body adjust by making the change in small daily increments, such as 15 minutes earlier or later each day.…
