As previously mentioned both countries have continued to become industrialized and urbanized with a nearly uncontrollable population growth. Nevertheless, air pollution continues to be an issue in today’s society. Air pollution can be caused by a number of different factors. Manufacturing industries release large amounts of monoxide, hydrocarbons, organic compounds and a number of chemicals into the air, which depletes the air quality. Mining operations have also affected the quality air as well. It is a process in which minerals below the earth’s surface are extracted using large equipment. During this process dust and chemicals are released causing air pollution. This is one of the major causes for diminishing health conditions of factory and nearby…

Air Quality: Good air quality is vital for people’s health and it is an essential part of our environment. Large factories and other large buildings which produce a large amount of pollution tend to be sited away from populated areas to help prevent pollution entering our breathable atmosphere over towns and cities; indeed, large chimneys push the pollution further up into the atmosphere avoiding any fallout to local inhabitants. Large amounts of pollution can result in smog, which can lead too poor visibility as well as breathing difficulties for the cities and inhabitants. Smog can deplete oxygen levels, which can cause asthma, bronchitis and other lung diseases. This is why it is important that we consider air quality at the planning stage, so we can help prevent producing large amounts of pollution this being from, tools, equipment and other large machineries, especially if it’s in a large population area, as our actions on the construction site could affect the local community.…

Construction sites are found both within urban and rural areas, often in the close proximity of homes. Due to their proximity to homes and the materials used, construction sites may generate home pollution. This involves air, water, soil, and/or noise pollution. Additionally, construction work may reveal existing subsurface pollution. In such situation, construction work is stopped and costly remediation is needed. Thus, construction work may generate construction pollution problems affecting both home owners and construction site owners. Moreover, construction workers (especially in the past) may be exposed to pollution. These aspects will be discussed in more details below, along with tips and measures to prevent and face pollution, as well as to recover the costs.…
