Can a person change their ways? Scrooge from Scrooge & Marley :A Christmas Carol went through a huge transformation because of the things he did. Transformation or change is a big part of everything, a few events and actions can change someone's life forever. Ebenezer Scrooge went from being a selfish man that cares about no one other than himself to a thoughtful person. He also changed from a greedy old man to more charitable to everything he can. Another change Scrooge went through in his time was being an obnoxious, to a more understanding and learned from his mistakes. Scrooge was once a selfish old man, he had no heart and cared only about himself, but he is now very thoughtful about others and things around him. Scrooge saw his grave with the ghost of Christmas future as a result, he turned his ways. When Scrooge saw that if he doesn’t give he will die alone unhappy, and sooner, he didn’t want to die so he made a change. Consequently, Scrooge is now very thoughtful, he cares about others and

The event that had him change was when he saw the people with nothing, and begging for items, brought by the ghost of Christmas present. He saw the people that he could give more to when he had the chance, the people that were living off scraps, had nothing but each other, he saw what many people have to go through. Therefore he changed he became more charitable to those who had nothing, he used his wealth to good use and got rid of his greedy name. For example, he gave the person that was asking for money to feed the poor a big amount of money to do his part.
