Betraying others who care is portrayed clearly in the Bible. Both Judas and Peter betrayed Jesus, but in different ways. Peter betrayed Jesus by denying him three times. Peter was asked if he knew who Jesus was three times. All three times, Peter said he didn’t know who he was. Jesus said that Peter would deny him three times before a rooster crowed. When Peter denied Jesus three times and heard the rooster crow, he cried bitterly. Even though Peter told Jesus that he would never deny him, he did so anyway.
