EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
In this assignment I have done the comparative study of stock prices of tata communications ltd and bharti airtel ltd. And presented them in graphical form also with the help of Microsoft excel and stata. I have made the descriptive study of the stock prices of both the companies and found out the mean, median ,mode ,skewness , kurtosis , standard deviation ,and some other annalysis. and thus made a deep study into the monthly returns of both the companies.
In order to understand the monthly returns in a better way we should 1st know about the companies. BHARTI AIRTEL is one of the world’s leading providers of telecommunication services with presence in 19 countries including India & South Asia and Africa. The Company served an aggregate of 220.9 million customers as on March 31, 2011.
TATA COMMUNICATION is a leading global provider of a new world of communications. Tata Global network includes one of the most advanced technology which is used by them.
While doing this project and compiring the performance of both the companies i have seen that both the companies are running in profit and can fetch adequate amount of returns to the investors but as we compare each and every aspect deeply I can say that bharti airtel ltd is better than tata communications ltd.
