Comparing The Show Fear Of The Walking Dead
The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead are two shows that very often get confused but with the exception of their names are very different. The Walking Dead is about all different people coming together to fight a common enemy. Fear the Walking Dead explains how Ordinary People are affected by devastation. Even though popular opinion says different Fear the Walking Dead is much darker than The Walking Dead because of the psychological factors. Despite the fact that the two shows share a very similar title they are actually quite different. The Walking Dead shows all people from all different walks of life, races, and sexualities forming a bond and forgetting their former values to fight the dead and stay alive. The show is not really about the zombies or “walkers” as the show refers to them. It indirectly represents overcoming adversity. The Walking Dead shows men and women adapting to the beliefs of others and learning to coexist as a community. Every character has a different history and outlook on life, the show challenges the characters to accept new ideas and live more open mindedly. Fear the Walking Dead gives you a new perspective on how everyday people would take action during disaster. The main characters in the show are normal people

At the point and time that The Walking Dead takes place most of the characters have decided that they want to live through the apocalypse. This is not the case for Fear the Walking Dead; audiences watch as everyday people come to terms with their inevitable death. So many people make the wrong decision because they don't know that living among the dead will get easier like it shows in The Walking Dead where the zombies aren't even an important factor anymore.
