There are many differences and summaries between the book and the movie the coronals of Narnia the lion, witch and wardrobe. For example; “In the movie, they crossed that river (jumping over ice bergs, Megrim confronting them on the river, etc), while I'm pretty sure that in the book they didn't cross it, but walked along it or something... can't fully recall. Also, I'm pretty sure in the book they were only confronted by Megrims once after Edmund betrayed them (when Peter fought him), but in the movie there was also the aforementioned confrontation on the river.
The Professor is portrayed differently - at least at the start of the book/film. He's not quite as reclusive in the book.

They end up going into the wardrobe different. In the film, they're running from the housekeeper after hitting the ball. In the book, they're trying to avoid a house tour.

The book also skips over a lot of the set-up to do with wartime and the relationship between Edmund and the others. Lucy goes to Narnia in about page 6 rather than 30 minutes into the film

In the book, while with the Beavers, once they realize Edmund is gone, they know they've been betrayed and they leave. In the film, they climb a ridge and watch him go into the palace before realizing for sure.

The book makes much more of the fact that Edmund is enchanted by the Turkish delight so that it's not all his fault. When he betrays them, he does it when he first gets to the Palace; not in the dribs and drabs throughout the film which makes it seem like he's not

The differences are subtle, but they are all there. One difference between the two are the order of events. Certain scenes, such as Paul and Albert's injuries, the French girls and Paul's leave, are all done in different orders in both the movie and book. In the book, the scenes play out like this; first the boys meet the French girls, then Paul has his leave and then finally Paul and Albert get injured However, in the movie the events play out as so; The boys meet the French girls (n this particular sequence of events meeting the French girls happens first, however, in the movie that scene is shown later then in the book), then Paul and Albert get injured, and then finally Paul has his leave. This difference is very trivial as it doesn't change anything significantly, however it is a pretty striking…

When Gene and Finny go to the tree one of the times Gene slips and Finny saves him. This happens only in the movie. The book did not say anything about a rope being on the tree. In the movie when Gene shakes the limb of the tree causing Finny to fall, there was no one at the tree. In the book Leper and Brinker were standing there. The movie also started in a flashback to the trial, whereas in the book it started off as him being in his current time. The book was told in first person and the movie was narrated in third person. I felt the book brought you closer to what Gene was thinking. Another difference would be Gene going and talking to Leper. In the book Leper goes home and in the movie he goes to the woods of…

In The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (Lewis, 1950/2005, Chapter 5, p. 24), Lucy excitedly tells Peter and Susan that there is indeed a country that can be accessed through the wardrobe. She mentions that she meets Edmund in the woods and turns to Edmund to backup her story. This portrays her trust towards him as a brother to help her prove to Susan and Peter that what she said is real. However, instead of helping Lucy, Edmund decided to let her down. He mocked makes fun of her and says that are playing make believe in the wardrobe. There is irony as Peter tells Edmund off for the way he treats Lucy. Yet, Peter himself does not believe what Lucy said. Susan and Peter consulted the Professor. The Professor then says “That is a point, which…
