compare and contrast two restaurants
Nagihan Ekmekci Compare and contrast two restaurants Do you want to eat out in Datteln, a small town in Germany? There are a lot of restaurants that you can choose from. They vary greatly in appearance, menu, service and prices. Preference depends on the priority of people. There are two restaurants in Datteln that are worth a try:Lotusblume and Marmaris Döner. They have some similarities and differences. Some people prefer to eat at stylish restaurants. Lotusblume in Datteln is a traditional Chinese restaurant with an authentic Chinese decoration. The red carpets on the floor and the Asian paintings on the walls provide a fascinating ambiance. Marmaris Döner, however, has a standard decoration. For this reason, if you decide to eat out for a special occasion, it is a good idea to opt for the Lotusblume. When you decide where to eat you also consider the menu- what do you fancy eating?
Lotusblume offers traditional Chinese cuisine, whereas Marmaris Döner offers the traditional Turkish Döner. The menu of the Lotusblume is quite large. In contrast Marmaris Döner has some sort of fix menus to choose from. Yet, the foods of both restaurants are well- serviced, fresh and tasty. In conclusion, the differences between the two restaurants are more than the similarities. The common thing of both is that they offer good quality foods and are popular with locals and visitors.

Food- Since I will be paying for my food, I would expect it to be nothing less of delectable. Of course, presentation of the dish itself should be appetizing, but the taste is what I’m here for. If a medium-rare steak is what I order, then I want to see it seared on the outside and pinkish to slightly red towards the center thickness. Just as important, flavor should be as close to, if not exactly, as described in the menu and by the server. Vegetables, if done correctly, will add a perfect compliment. I’ve eaten at places where vegetables were so over cooked; I swear it came from a can. The point is if your food tastes like cafeteria food, complain. Let’s face it, if I’m…

After visiting these five restaurants I found that in general the service was satisfactory, although some restaurants were providing higher quality service than others. For example, Q-doba’s and Giovanni’s operations were focused primarily on speed of service rather than customer experience. While Wild Ginger and Backyards Bistro were focused on delivering an overall dining experience which included not only good food but a certain ambiance with waiters to take your order and a hostess to seat you; this was much different from the assembly line speed with which Giovanni’s or Q-doba’s operate. Mr. Wraps, adheres to neither of these operational approaches it is primarily a take-out place with a sporty ambiance and quick service. Observing each of these restaurants it became clear that speedy service and a good product were not the only important qualities to satisfying a customer. In general it was important to the customer, me, that the employee be personable, genuinely interested in making my experience a…

Olive Garden and Johnny Carino’s are two Italian restaurants in the same category; which one is better? The convenience of having lunch or dinner at one of these restaurants that are located at the same city, and same traveling distance. When my family goes to dinner we usually always pick Olive Garden, but this Sunday we decided to give Johnny Carino’s a try. Olive garden has been around since 1982 and since then they have been evolving from food taste, food variety, prices, specials and service.
