The term learning to me means that we are acquiring knowledge for something we did not know or a new way of doing something. I think online learning is different than traditional because online learning is more of independent studies and can be easier or more difficult to manage depending on each person's learning styles. My view of learning as only changed by knowing more learning styles and how they can vary in technical terms.…

Learning to me is allowing your brain to receive information and then applying in to your life experiences. I feel like face to face learning is better, however, online is more convenient. I prefer face to face because it offers a more personal relationship with your classmates and your professor. Although it is not practical for my life, I do wish I could attend classes in a regular environment. Online provides me that much needed space and opportunity to move at my own pace. Now that I have taken this class, I know that while I am receiving information I will be more aware of the information being delivered because I will now be more intentional with receiving the information.…

There is really no difference between the two learning styles. The only difference between them is one you have a teacher face-to-face and the other you have on the computer screen. The grading techniques are both the same and the learning experience is the same. Students are still getting the help and assistance that they need with online courses and a traditional classroom. Whether they decide on online classes or going to classes, education is important either way, and they are able to pursue their career with both.…

There are similarities in a traditional classroom and an online setting, however, I will identify the primary differences amongst the two. An online setting allows you more flexibility. It allows you to read and write at your own pace. You do not have to worry about rushing to get dressed for class, finding a baby sitter, deal with finding a parking space, driving to school, carrying a text book from one class to the next, or sitting in a classroom for hours. In addition, you do not have to be in a seat at a particular time (Chambers, 2016). An online setting allows you to take your time to complete assignments so whether you are working on an assignment, you have at your convenience to stop and take a restroom break or lunch break. Also, you have at your convenience to pause lectures and go back to replay lectures at your leisure versus at a traditional setting, if you step out of the classroom for a second you may have missed something important.…

The most important difference of online and traditional education would be the classroom setting. Online classes are defined as courses that are offered primarily or exclusively through the Internet. (Blank, 2012) Online students can learn from anywhere, they have access to a computer with Internet access. A student can turn in homework, take an exam and listen to a lecture while at home, traveling with the family or even sitting in the waiting room of a doctor 's office. Students can complete their classwork at any time of day to fit any schedule. An online education may be best for you if you are a single parent, have a busy schedule, or you want to learn at your own pace. Some online learners may find online classes boring and have difficulty concentrating on the material that needs to be remembered. For these students a traditional education may be a better match. Traditional classes are taught in a classroom setting. With traditional education, you are going to a designated classroom and at precise dates and times. Students who choose a traditional education will have to schedule work, appointments, and other errands so they do not interfere with scheduled class times. Students who want the classic college experience by meeting new friends in a face-to-face environment…

In assessment of online and classroom (on-ground) knowledge gives specific students that has interest according to how they learn. Taking online classes for me works so much better because I can go at my own pace. After doing some research online I found that there is a debate regarding the matter of online classes vs. traditional classrooms. At a point in time I recently had a debate on their opinion in classroom learning and the online classes. Their opinion has given me a better understanding on the format in relation with on ground classroom setting. Although I feel strongly about my online courses my friend says they will never stop attending school on site. As I continue on I will state the difference of the classroom setting, online classes, and the summary response towards from the textbook. As well as, give some example of the differences between older and younger students attending traditional classroom and online classes.…

A student sits at a desk taking notes, occasionally watching the clock, a million things running through her mind. Another student sits at a desk at the same time. Knowing a certain thing that has to be done, she gets up from her desk with the promise to return later that evening. The difference: one student is enrolled in online courses. While regular campus courses provide a great education with a friendly-learning environment, online-courses can aid a student in a fast-paced, independent education.…

The convenience of online classes can give you academic confidence working at your own pace. Online classes have the advantage of being available anywhere you can access the internet. There is flexibility in scheduling classes, and students assume more responsibility in learning. It gives students the confidence and comfort to be more. Hill, (2012) stated learning online is of course, not the same as learning face to face, and that’s likely good news for anyone who can recall an hour lost listening to an interminable lecture in an overheated classroom. Chandler, 2012) A face to face meeting in a classroom imposes accountability, inspires effort and promotes academic responsibility in subtle ways that we don’t fully appreciate.…

Students today have so many options to enhance their education. While traditional education has advantages for the students, online education can have the same components and techniques just in a different method of teaching. Online education better prepares a colleague for their future by offering smaller student to teacher ratios and tailoring materials to the student's specific interests; however, traditional school education prepares a colleague to interact with groups of other students and learn social skills and conflict resolution, through sports or other outside activities. Each education method has advantages and disadvantages for students to choose the best education for each individual needs. The students can compare and contrast the pros and cons of each educational method to make the best choice about their education.…

As I am a student, I strongly disagree to the sentence that said "taking online classes is better than attending classes on campus." In fact, it seems to be easy for those who study online as they can spend any time with their studies; also, most of them can work at the same time as they study to get money to support their families and themselves. However, it can be hard and difficult for them. They may not have enough time to study and to do their homework assignments as most of them go to work almost every day and some of them spend some time with their kids.…

Education is essential to the future of our society. Many adults, including scholars and teachers, are constantly searching for the best way to educate students today. Face-to-face education, being the genuine form, seems to be the first choice of many students. However, online education is becoming more popular and is being used more often at universities. Online courses are convenient for some who have busy schedules which obstruct them from attending face-to-face courses. Online education may be the most convenient form of education, but is it an effective form? Several valid arguments have been made by scholars and other individuals claiming it meets both of these standards. The main question students and scholars would like to know is whether or not one form is better than the other.…
