Compare And Contrast Summer And Winter Driving
Driving in the winter and driving in the summer are immeasurably different. One has to have specific driving skills in order to safely drive in extreme winter conditions. In my opinion half of winter weather deaths in the United States are caused by icy road accidents. It can be widely agreed that winter is the most difficult season for drivers to travel in, while the summer is the most trouble-free. There are many similarities and differences between winter and summer driving.
One similarity between driving in the two seasons is that they both requires basic driving skills. Knowing the difference in high and low beams, the different gears of our car, when to use turn signals, etc. are basic skills to know that will keep the passengers safe.

Unlike some mammals, the white-tailed deer do not hibernate during the winter, instead they survive by shedding their summer coat and growing a heavier winter one. This winter coat consists of dense underfur and is made up of hollow hair shafts, and these adaptions provide the deer with insulation. White-tailed deer also have special skin muscles that allow them to manipulate the hair shafts on their back and provide more insulation. Additionally, in order to prepare for the winter months, deer eat more, adding extra layers of fat to their bodies. Deer can store about 25% their body weight as fat. Because the storage of energy is so important during the wintertime, deer have periods of "rest" or metabolic slowness. In this period not only does…

I agree that driving while using a handheld cellphone is bad because it can lead to a car crash, the driver isn't focused on the road, and not paying attention to other drivers and not all hands are on the wheel. One reason why I believe that driving with a cellphone should be illegal because it can lead to a serious car crash in some cases. The driver may not be focused on the road and they hit a car dead on. Another reason why I agree with driving with a cellphone is illegal because the driver may not be focused on driving. They most likely be focused on talking to someone on the phone, Face time , Facebook, Snap chat , Twitter. Some people will forget that they are driving if they are really into there phone. The last…

Drivers have misunderstood “experience” for knowledge. They have been driving for an x number of time and seems to have been probably lucky enough to not been involved in anything serious or dangerous. Their limited skill level can cope with the ordinary. Therefore, their level of driving knowledge and skill will suffice until a crisis happens. In general, people have been surviving day to day with their mediocre skills only because an event that requires advanced skills and knowledge has yet to rear its ugly head. If they are not prepared for a crisis while driving, they simply don’t know how to react to one. It is the equivalent of thinking. There was something she could have done if only she had more…

The first concern drivers should have while driving is for the conditon of the road. Road conditions change on a daily basis due to the weather and the time of day. A good driver knows that if it is raining or snowing outside the roads will be slick. Therfore they should drive not only slower but also more cautious. Another factor that effects the condition of the road is the kind of road. Rural roads tend to be more narrow and less maintained so you shoud look out for pot holes. Each kind of road should be treated differently because they all have different dangers.…

Driving in the summer is the best. Sometimes when I am free my kids and I would take trips. Even if it’s just driving around the city sightseeing; it’s so relaxing sometimes. Unless it’s pouring down with rain, you will be surprised at what fabulous photos can be produced.
