From my view of this topic you would think special kids are all the same slow and just don’t know how to learn on there own. But after learning about IEP, IFSP,IEE and 504 plan. You learn that not all kids are the sane and there are different programs to put kids in to help them in there journey. Some are the same and some are different but everyone has there own special thing about them. IEP and 504 plan are similar when it comes to the ages they help you from. But a difference is that one collects from the government and one does not. But with IFSP and IEE there completely different with not really anything in common.
IFSP is Individual Family Service Plan. IEP is Individual Education Program. IEE is Individual Education Evaluation. You can

IEP is developed by a group of school staffs as wells as the child's parent. The team meets and evaluates the child with various assessments as well as designs an educational program to help the child learn better in a educational environment depending on his or her disability. “There are strict legal requirements about who participates. An IEP is created by an IEP team that must include, the child’s parent, at least one special education teacher. School psychologist or other specialist who can interpret evaluation results”. A district representative with authority over special education services”.(2011 what is the difference between IFSP and an IEP?) When the school decides they want to change the learning program for a child they have to contact a parent. They have to tell parents in writing before they change the learning plan.
