Traditional College Versus Online College

In this paper we will cover the pros and cons of traditional colleges vs. online

colleges, beginning with the convenience factor, examining the financial aspects and the

need for books and supplies.

is the fact that you have your instructor or professor right there in front of you when in

class, which can be a big plus when asking questions. With online college you do not

have this ability. You must converse with your instructor via email, which can be

Secondly in a traditional college setting you have the feedback from fellow students

that can take place in real time. On the other hand in an online college setting you do not

have this luxury. You must rely on your posts to make your point. This can be frustrating

to some people as it does not allow for spontaneous interaction.

Third with a traditional college you must travel to and from classes and campus;

which can be more of a con than a pro? Whereas with an online college there is
