Compare And Contrast Essay: Early College High School Vs. College
Early College High School vs. College An Early College High School allows students to receive their high school diploma and associates degree. I myself attends an Early College High School. I think this is a great program because it offers me a better advantage to have when I go off to college. College is place where people go for years to further their education. An Early College High School shares quite a few similarities with a college, but there are some differences as well. One of the first differences between the two is in high school you are surrounded by people you know. In high school there are people we know because we either know them personally or have been attending the same school district together for years. This causes friendships to form and becoming close with one another. Friendships make humans feel happy and have a sense of belonging. However, when most people go off to college they feel alone at first. The reason being is because they are in a different environment with people they haven’t meet before. It’s even more difficult if you aren’t a sociable person. Also another difference is in high school you have to take the required courses in order to graduate. As students in high school we are required to take specific courses in order for us to graduate and receive our diploma. If any student fails

An associate degree is basically the next step or level of education after your high school diploma. Anybody can receive their associate’s degree either at the Early College High School or college. Also if you attend an Early College High School and didn’t get your associates by the 12th grade year, at least you can try again at college. Hopefully your credits will transfer to the college of your choice and you can resume from there. In addition to receiving your associate’s degree, time management is another thing in order to be successful in both educational
